Nascar Rumble
Description
We usually talk about wars. But being an engineering student we never face the situation of battle field. At zazen11 you will have the chance to feel the situation of the field of battle and a survival fight for your existence. So young soldiers come with your canon and realize the real thrill of battle-jung with your engineering mind in the dynamic and thrilling event “THE NASCAR RUMBLE”
ARENA SPECIFICATION:
- Height of the path is 30cm and gradually increases to 35cm.
- Width of the path is 30cm.
- Main arena where the balls are placed is of 200cm*100cm.
- In the arena there are hurdles(speed breakers ,marbles and a rectangular hole 10cm*8cm)
- In the main arena there are hurdles like sand gravels,small stone
- In the main arena the robot has to deposit the balls in a desired well, which is at the corners of the arena.
SHOULD DO's:
- Each team must design and construct handmade machine to compete in the contest.
- Only one machine is allowed for each team.
- The machine has to be operated by means of remote control which may be either wire or wireless.
SHOULD NOT DO's:
- Team members are not allowed to touch the machine once the task begins.

- Each team should consist of four members at the maximum.
- All participants must get their college id.
- A robot will be allowed for a maximum of 10 minutes inside the arena. This may change according to the opinion from the judges and event co-ordinators.
- A robot shall not jump over, climb, scratch, damage or destroy the walls of the arena .
- Violation of any of the above rule and damaging the arena or any object on the arena will be regarded as violation and this result in deduction of 25 points.
- The organizers reserve the rights to change any or all of the above rules as they can deem fit. Change in rules if any will be highlighted on the website and notified to the registered participants.

Task
- Robot should start at the start point and follow the slope
- The width of the path is 30cm.
- Gradually height of the path increases from 30cm to 35cm and again gradually dipped into the main arena an angle of 30 degrees.
- In the main arena the bot has to collect maximum number of balls (30) and place it the alloted arena
- At the center of arena 3 queen balls will be placed.
- After every 10 balls collected, 1 queen ball can be collected.
SCORING PATTERN:
- Total score for completing of the whole task awards maximum of 900 points.
- For collecting 1 balls 20 points will be awarded.
- For each queen ball 100 points will be awarded.
JUDGING CRITERIA:
- Judging will be done solely on the base of the final score of the participant
- The judges also reserve the right to stop the task, declare disqualification or give instructions to be out of the event
- Judges decision shall be treated as final and binding on all
- A robot will be disallowed from entering into the arena if the judges feel that the design of the machine may inflict damage to the arena
