Here the Paper presentation “PAPYRUS EVENT” of ZAZEN 2011 is the platform to every budding scientist to present his/her ideas and work in front of experts in the respective fields. It is a chance for innovative minds to put forth their ideas in various areas of advanced research.
Rules & regulations
- ABSTRACT:
The abstract should not be longer than one page i.e.approx: 300-450 words.
Remember that your abstract must outline the following very clearly:
- Objectives
- Methodology
- Major outcomes expected
- Practical implication (if any)
- Mention the Student Names, Roll No.s and College Name of the participants
- Inter college teams are allowed
- .Papers to be presented during ZAZEN’11 will be selected on the basis of the abstracts sent to us. Full papers must not be sent; only abstracts should be sent.
- Send your abstracts to papyrus2011.mech.civil@gmail.com latest by 25th of April.
- The first stage involves the sending of abstracts.
- The abstract must be in .pdf or .doc format.
- The prescribed format must be followed failing which may lead to disqualification of the participants.
- Participants from different institutions can also form a team.
- A maximum of 2 students per team are allowed to present a paper .In case of team participation, both the members are required to be present on the spot of the event.
- The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Guidelines
- The selected candidates are required to bring a soft copy (CD or Pendrive) and hard copy on the day of the event
- Presentations should be in .ppt or .pdf format (preferably .ppt). Microsoft Office 2007 / Adobe acrobat Reader will be provided.
- For the presentations, a LCD projector, a mike and speakers will be provided.
- The time for one presentation will be 10 minutes. One buzzer will be rung after 8 minutes to remind the participants about the time and final buzzer will be rung after 10 minutes.
- Any extension in the allotted time will result in the loss of points.
- No request regarding change in schedule and date of paper presentation will be entertained under any circumstances.
- Only genuine and original paper abstracts should be sent. Abstracts found copied from any source like internet/ journals etc. will be disqualified.
- The papers will be judged on the basis of their innovation, in depth knowledge of the field and presentation skills.
Prize Money
- First Prize: 3000 INR
- Second Prize: 2000 INR
- Third Prize: 1000 INR
