'C' Glitch
Description
- This event is related with ‘C’ debugging and BLIND CODING
- This event basically tests the depth in ‘C’ error reporting as well as how efficiently the program can be written without any linking and compilation error.
- Questions related with turboc 3.0 (windows platform).
Rules & regulations
- Team consists of maximum 2 members.Team members can be from two different institutions.
- It consists of two rounds i.e. Prelims & Final
Prelims
- This round is divided in two parts:
- Objective questions on basic theoretical C errors
- Some error finding and debugging questions
- Time limit is 30 minutes.
- No.of questions: 30
- Top twelve teams will be selected for final round.
Final Round
- The selected participants will be allotted with a computer having windows platform with preinstalled TURBO C 3.0
- Here test will be conducted to measure efficiency of writing program in C.
- Two rounds to be faced by qualified(in prelims) participants:
- Erroneous program solving & getting out correct output.
- How efficiently a program can be written without a single error when monitor is off.i.e. efficiency is calculated on the basis of lesser no. of compiler/runtime/ linking error.
- Time limit is 120minutes.
- Top 3 teams will be awarded.
Prize Money
- First Prize: 3000 INR
- Second Prize: 2000 INR
- Third Prize: 1000 INR
