Description
We usually talk about wars. But being an engineering student we never face the situation of battle field. At zazen11 you will have the chance to feel the situation of the field of battle and a survival fight for your existence. So young soldiers come with your canon and realize the real thrill of battle-jung with your engineering mind in the dynamic and thrilling event “THE BADGE OF HONOUR”
Problem Statement
- The bot should starts from zone A.
- Obstacles in zone A are provided which will be declared on the spot.
- 10 points is awarded for crossing each obstacle.
- At zone B the bot should cross the drain by filling it with green cubes.
- The size of the cube is (10*10*10)cm made up of thermocol.
- 15 points will be awarded for each cube to fill the drain.
- 20 points will be awarded to cross the drain.
- If bot is unable to cross zone B then it can be placed forcefully at zone C with a negative of 50 points.
- Bot have to collect cubes and should place at their respective warehouse.
- 20 points will be awarded for each cube placed.
- Bot can steal opponent’s cubes after having atleast one cube of their own.
- 25 points will be awarded for each stolen cubes.
- The bot can fight with the opponent’s bot to put them in the pit.
- If ever any of the bot falls in the pit 50 points will be deducted from his score and the task will simultaneously come to an end for him.
- Two timeouts are provided during the task. A Penalty of 20 and 30 points for the 1st and 2nd timeout are given respectively.
- If timeout is taken the bot should start from the previous check post.
- The above rules are tentative, can be changed if required and will be informed if any.
- For any controversies the decision of the judge is final.
Prelims
- Each team will be allowed a maximum of 10 minutes to complete the task.
- Based on the points scored a specified no. of teams will be selected for the final round.
Finals
- It is a knockout round.
- Two bots will fight simultaneously. Based on the points scored within the time allowed team with maximum point will move to the next stage.
- The team survived till end will be declared as winner.
Rules
- Bot should be manually controlled.
- A team can consist of maximum of 4 members.
- Dimension of bot maximum(25*25*25) in cm.
- Before the start of the event it should fit in a box of 25*25*25 in cm.
- Participants should bring their own power supply and extension cords.
- A 220 volt, 50 Hz ac supply will be provided to each team.
- Maximum of 18 volt dc is allowed.
- Damaging the arena will leads to immediate disqualification.
- The team should report at the given time slot otherwise they will be disqualified.
- The robot may be wired/wireless, if wired then it should remain slack till the completion of the task.
- Touching of bot during the task without permission leads to disqualification.
- Use of Lego kits and readymade bases is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification of the team. Readymade gear boxes may be used.

- Zone A -path width is 30cm.
- Zone A to zone B inclination is 30 degree.
- Drain width is 15cm and depth 10cm.
- Zone C angle of depression is 20 degree approximately.
